What Type of Oil would be great for your Baby

Babies absolutely love getting a nice long massage before they have a bath. Most mothers prefer giving their children oil massage. They go ahead and pick up a branded baby oil from the market. But thats not all. There are plenty of types of oils available that you can use for your baby. You can try these tips to find the right one for your child.

  1. Baby oil is available in cream form, in either pour or spray bottles
  2. Baby oil in spray bottles tend to be lighter than the oil in bottles. Pouring a cap full into a warm bath can also help moisturize dry patches and eczema. A sweet almond oil or grapeseed oil-based baby oil stays on the skin’s surface longer allowing you to easily massage without tugging or pulling your baby’s skin.
  3. Organic Aloe Vera, with its natural moisturizing and soothing properties, and jojoba which helps to maintain the smoothness and softness of the skin, together with lemon scented tea-tree, lavender and sunflower and sesame oils
  4. Apart from the above, you could use oil of apricot and herbs to massage your baby You could use your bare hands to massage your baby using the bay oil by letting the hands slide over the baby’s body in a rhythmic and systematic manner. It is best not to use fast-absorbing mineral oil-based baby oil for massage, as it absorbs too quickly into the skin.
