Five Top Tips for a Good Shower

A shower not only refreshes you, but goes a long way in keeping you clean and healthy. Here are some general tips to follow to get that extra pleasure from a shower:

  1. Know what you’re putting into your bath. If you are someone who suffers from high blood pressure, don’t take a bath with Epsom salts. That said, there aren’t too many bath products that would cause great problems. Still, if you have any health issues, it’s important to know if what you’ll be soaking in can help or hinder you.
  2. In choosing a soap, think well. Some bath and body soap aid in moisturizing dry skin, some controls the oily skin while others are created to make each bath time soothing and pleasurable. Determine your purpose.
  3. Take care about the temperature of the water you are going to bathe in. It could be warm, but not scalding. Cool baths can be helpful in certain situations, such as soothing itchy skin, or beating the heat, but keep them short and if you’re menstruating, avoid them.
  4. Consider covering your skin with oil before getting into the bath and then exfoliating while in it. More dead skin will be removed as a consequence. Love your loofah. Bath time is a great time to freshen up your skin.
  5. Try different baths. You’ll soon get an idea of what you like best. Essential oils are great when it comes to variety. Really hot water will diminish the aromas quickly, so it’s better to have a warm bath in this instance to experience any aromatherapy benefits.
