How to Keep your Bathroom Fragrant

A stinky bathroom is something we don’t want to face. It is a major embarrassment especially when we have unexpected guests who make a visit to our bathroom.
An easy way to get rid of stinky smell from bathrooms is to always keep a book of matches handy. The sulpher from the match will dispel all odors. These are few points which will prove to be handy in ensuring you have a clean and a non smelly bathroom.

  1. Install a vent, or open a window in your window. Keep your bathroom well ventilated.
  2. Keep the bathroom door open when not in use. This will ensure that the bathroom is well ventilated.
  3. Clean the bathroom regularly. This proves to be useful in the long run.
  4. Pay particular attention to the outside of the bowl and the cement base of the bowl. The concrete absorbs the urine. A good, firm wipe with bleach should neutralize any recent urine
  5. Light a plain (non-scented) candle. This will help neutralize the odor to mask the odors Keep matches handy to light it.
  6. Spray air freshener lightly. Do not spray if you are already using a lighted candle.
  7. If the smell is of mold, you may have to remove the drywall and rebuild that portion of the wall.
