Every one of us would have had this terrible experience of calling the plumber and paying through one’s neck to unclog the shower drain. So here are a few tips to avoid a costly plumber’s visit:
- Use plumber’s best friend – a plunger. This might be quite old-fashioned but is still very much affective.
- You can also make use of Pneumatic plungers which discharge a blast of compressed air that may dislodge the plug.
- If you take resort in hardware stores then ask for snakes, which are devices that can be inserted in the drain and twisted until they reach and dislodge whatever is causing the clogging.
Surely if you keep one of the above said things at home, plumbers won’t be called in recent future.
